Membership Categories
Note: No special qualifications are required for membership.
Ordinary Membership: This category is open to any individual interested in rivers, river catchments and their issues and who is willing to actively participate in and promote the aims of the Rivers Group.
$50 p/a
for Members of IPENZ or other IPENZ Technical groups.
$93.70 p/a for others.
Student Membership: This category is open to any individual undertaking full-time study in an area or discipline that has relevance to rivers. Free membership is offered to students to encourage participation in all activities of the Rivers Group. Evidence of full-time study (e.g. a current Student ID) is required to be eligible for Student Membership.
Student membership is free.
Corporate Membership: This category enables organisations to show their support for the aims and activities of the Rivers Group and to achieve public recognition of that support. Corporate member organisations receive discounted conference and event registrations, and other benefits.
Corporate membership is $400 p/a
(Corporates may pay centrally for as many individual Members as you wish at the individual rate)
Retired Membership:
This category applies to retired members of IPENZ and for other members who meet the same requirements. For applicability please contact riversgroup@ipenz.org.nz
The subscription is $10 for IPENZ members and $53.70 for others
Community Group Membership:
Free membership is available for approved Community Organisations.

Invoicing of membership fees is undertaken by IPENZ and the above fees include GST.
All members are entitled to receive information and copies of our newsletter, participate in conferences and seminars at preferential rates, and participate in annual, general or special meetings.
