Welcome to the South Canterbury Branch of IPENZ
Welcome to South Canterbury Branch of IPENZ. Our region extends from Ashburton in the North through to Oamaru in the South and inland to Mount Cook in the west.
Our membership of 43 is represented by Engineers involved in a range of activities associated with infrastructure, food & beverage, local government, consultancy and education.
We also have a number of retired Members (some Fellows) who are active in the Branch.
We plan to have around six Branch events annually. Events normally involve a guest speaker and often a site visit as well. We host a Presidents/CE Visit bi-annually and, when resources permit, the Pickering Lecture.
The Branch Committee meets every six weeks or so, to plan Branch events. The membership is notified of each event via a Branch newsletter.
The primary contact for the Branch is the Branch Chairman.
