Welcome to the Otago Branch of IPENZWelcome to the Otago Branch of IPENZ. We have a very active IPENZ Branch and generally have at least one to two events per month. We endeavour to have a variety of events including presentations, site visits and social functions. Most presentations are held at the Skeggs Gallery in the Municipal Chambers, The Octagon, Dunedin. Talks are preceded by drinks and nibbles and this is a good opportunity to socialise with other Branch Members and guests. Our committee meetings are held in John Wickliffe House in the Exchange on the first Thursday of the month. We also have an engenerate section to cater to students and graduate engineers. The Otago Branch is also active in Futureintech, an initiative to attract more young people to careers in Science, Engineering and Technology. We as a committee are always looking to involve more Members in our Branch activities, so we would love to see you at some of our events. If there is anything else you would like to see happen, if you have an idea for an event, presentation or a site visit, then please contact one of the committee members and we’ll see what we can do to put things in motion.
