Welcome to the Manawatu Branch of IPENZ

IPENZ (The Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand) is the body which represents 10 000 professional engineers, from a range of disciplines. 

The Manawatu Branch has approximately 240 Members, of whom approximately 100 are Student Members. It holds monthly meetings which include evening and lunch-time presentations (including the Pickering Lecture and the President’s Visit) and site visits.  These events provide opportunities for Members to meet socially and to network.

The Branch works with Massey University and with students to promote the engineering profession and endeavours where possible to promote public awareness of engineering issues.
