2007 Winner - Tiffany Lester

Peter Jackson, past President of the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand Inc. and initiator of the Year of the Young Engineer, on Friday 23 March 2007 announced Tiffany Lester as the Winner of the Inaugural Young Engineer Essay competition, entitled "The Value of IPENZ in the Year 2020".

He went on to say that her submission was a very perceptive and reflective look at how the role of engineers might change in the next decade and how IPENZ might then need to change in response. Tiffany's address was also well-rehearsed and delivered with good audience engagement.
