NEW ZEALAND ENGINEERING

SUBJECT INDEX Vol 35(3), 1980, TO Vol 54(9), 1999/2000

This index covers the period during which New Zealand Engineering no longer contained technical papers but primarily carried news and technical material of engineering interest, together with Institution news. Vol 54(9), 2000, was the final issue.

From 1980 to 1998, there were 11 issues per year, the January issue being omitted. During 1999 (Vol 54), there were 8 issues; the final issue, Vol 54(9), was dated January 2000.

This index includes references only to the main news items. They are not shown under the general headings under which they appeared (Print Out, Briefing, Developments, IPENZ news, for instance) but are included under the specific subject headings, as is the material from such regular features as the Secretary's newsletter.

The following categories are not generally included in this index - People (but obituaries are included), Book reviews, Branch notes (which appeared regularly from 1980 to 1990), and material within the regular feature, Continuing Education.

Page numbers are generally those of the first page on which the particular item appears. In the early nineties, however, a reference to all pages covered (as, for instance, 9-11) was included in the database, and is included here.
