A fourth local authority, Palmerston North City Council, has
changed its water network connection arrangements as a result of a Commerce
Commission project to ensure all local authorities are aware of, and comply
with, the Commerce Act. Councils need to ensure that contracts for maintenance
of, and connections to, water networks are not anti-competitive. Phone

fendering systems on wharves and marinas. Each fendering system

NZ-made rotating screens commonly used in the treatment of sewage
and industrial wastewater will pre-screen potable water for the city of
Santiago in Chile. Contra-Shear Engineering has despatched three
Suboscreens, worth nearly $500,000 which pre-screen river water for leaves

De-Bug Worldwide Ltd has developed a diesel fuel decontamination
unit designed for the truck market. The unit eliminates breakdowns
caused by contaminated fuel and is suitable for most diesel trucks, loaders
and tractors. The unit works by pumping fuel over three ceramic magnets
in series, disrupting the electronic activity of the microbial cells and
causing them to die. A Perth based transport company is fitting De-Bug

pipe concept which enables light from a single source luminaire to
