New Zealand Engineering 1998 MayProject management course rated a successIPENZ, in conjunction with the Association of Professional Engineers, Scientists and Managers, Australia (APESMA), recently conducted a very successful two-day executive short course on project management in Wellington. Participants from a range of organisations, including Plant and Platform, New Plymouth; Spencer Holmes, Wellington; and Kidson Construction, Nelson; attended and rated the programme highly. "This programme has been designed to provide participants with an understanding of the key concepts, skills and issues involved in project management. It is suitable for professional project and job managers, engineers, designers, builders, or others wishing to increase their understanding of the multi-disciplinary skills and activities involved in the project management process. One of the added benefits of the programme is its recognition for CPD requirements and its credit towards the APESMA/Deakin University Graduate Certificate of Management," said Gabrielle O'Connor, Manager, Member Services.
