its Pipecalc 1 package for pipeline calculations with 16 equation
sets for gas and liquid modelling including distribution and gathering
systems, compressor design analysis and more. Others include: AGA flow,
AGA orifice, Panhandle A and B, Weymouth, Colebrook-White, blowdown, Hazen-Williams,
Beggs-Brill, and surge pressures. The full system price is US$879.95.

Carbines Engineering has completed commissioning of a seven
axis Motoman robotic palletiser for the Nestles Tux dog biscuit
factory in Marton. The Motoman SK120 robot was chosen for its high 12/150
kg payload, high speed operation and ability to cope with variable product
and production rates. The robot is capable of palletising 7.5 tonnes of
product an hour. The robot is programmed via a user-friendly touch screen. |
| IPSCO Ltd has been appointed New Zealand agent for the Donaldson
Company's Torit brand of dust collection equipment. The principal
benefits of the Torit cartridge filter system over fabric filters are economy
and simplicity. The system can scrub air down to sub-micron particulates
with filtration efficiency of 99.999 percent. The Torit systems are made
to a standard size and if there is a need for greater capacity additional
banks of cartridges can simply be bolted on.
