IPENZ Info and Networking Evening Auckland - MEMBER REGISTRATION
Description:
IPENZ will be holding an information and networking evening for student engineers in the Auckland region.
This event will take place on Tuesday 10 August at the University of Auckland and is open to all final-year under graduate and postgraduate students from MIT, AUT, Unitech, Massey University Albany and the University of Auckland.
The purpose of the evening is to inform final-year student engineers about the pathway towards obtaining an IPENZ competence-graded Membership class (Professional, Technical or Associate), or a competence-based register (Chartered Professional Engineer, Engineering Technology Practitioner or Certified Engineering Technician).
The evening will also enable student engineers to network with members of the engineering profession over pizza.
As a Member of the Institution we would like to invite you to attend the evening and share your experiences as an engineer with the up and coming Members of the profession. This is your opportunity to share your knowledge and insights about the world of engineering with student engineers.
The guest speaker for the evening will be Jonathan Ling, CEO Fletcher Building Limited
Members must register to attend the event as seating capacity in the lecture room is limited. All attendees will all be given a name badge to wear during the evening.
The outline of the evening is as follows
5.30pm – Members to pick up their name badges before entering the lecture theatre
6.00pm – Overview of the competence assessment process
6.30pm – Jonathan Ling, CEO Fletcher Building Limited
6.45pm – Networking over pizza
