IPENZ elects New Fellows
Friday, 26 March 2003

List of Fellows and citations

Forty one new Fellows were elected by The Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ) for their contributions to the engineering profession.

The Fellows were honoured at an awards dinner held in conjunction with the IPENZ convention, sponsored by Meridian Energy, at Christchurch's Hotel Grand Chancellor on Thursday, 25 March 2004.

The convention entitled: “Engineering for New Zealand’s future” married hot issues like the relationship between engineering and the creative industries, with the more traditional sustainability debate.

“Receiving a Fellowship carries substantial prestige. It is not a reward for long service or for advancement in seniority with one’s employer, rather it is recognition by IPENZ of the contribution of outstanding individuals,” said IPENZ Chief Executive, Andrew Cleland.
