Raveen Jaduram elected Fellow of IPENZ
Friday, 26 March 2004

Raveen Jaduram, General Manager of Manukau Water, was elected a Fellow of The Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ) for his contribution to advancement of engineering practice; specifically for his contribution to engineering management within the water industry.

Raveen has shown leadership in the planning and construction of water infrastructure projects in the Auckland region. His work is characterised by innovation, and through this, the communities he serves have benefited from effective and efficient solutions to their water supply issues. He has presented papers at seminars on asset management planning and risk management on a number of occasions. He has been heavily involved in service with a number of voluntary organisations, and is President-elect of the NZ Water and Waste Association.

“Receiving a Fellowship carries substantial prestige. It is not a reward for long service or for advancement in seniority with one’s employer, rather it is recognition by IPENZ of the contribution of outstanding individuals,” said IPENZ Chief Executive, Andrew Cleland.

Raveen was presented with his Fellowship at the IPENZ Awards Dinner held in Christchurch at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, on Thursday, 25 March 2004.
