| Media Release Peter Robinson MWH New Zealand wins Peter Robinson, Energy Sector Leader of MWH New Zealand, is The Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ) winner of the Innovation Award for his ongoing commitment to innovation in engineering practice. The award is sponsored by Meridian Energy Ltd. Peter received his award at the IPENZ Awards Dinner, during the IPENZ Convention at the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Christchurch on Thursday, March 25. Peter specialises in power generation, industrial energy systems and energy management and utilisation. Over his 30-year career, he has been instrumental in the development, implementation and management of many innovative projects from the use of heat pumps and heat recovery within buildings to significantly improve energy efficiency, to the automation of hydro schemes in the South Island.
