Bruce Coleman elected Fellow of IPENZ

Bruce Coleman, Principal Truebridge Callender Beach Ltd, was elected a Fellow of The Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ) for his contribution to the advancement of engineering practice and leadership in the profession of engineering; specifically recognising his contributions to development of community consultation mechanisms and leadership on behalf of the consulting engineering fraternity.

As the engineering face to several complex community issues, Bruce has demonstrated his excellent communication, consultation, and leadership skills in a number of high public profile projects.

“Receiving a Fellowship carries substantial prestige. It is not a reward for long service or for advancement in seniority with one’s employer, rather it is recognition by IPENZ of the contribution of outstanding individuals,” said IPENZ Chief Executive, Andrew Cleland.

Bruce was presented with his Fellowship at the IPENZ Awards Dinner held in Christchurch at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, on Thursday, 25 March 2004.
