CPEng Registrants in Abeyance

There are two ways of a registrant can be placed in abeyance:

  1. The registrant requests it; and
  2. The registrant has annual registration fees overdue by more than 90 days.

Being in abeyance means that the registrant cannot call themselves a CPEng, but they have not been removed from the register.

A registrant’s abeyance will terminate and registration will be immediately revived if (i) the period of voluntary abeyance ends, or (ii) the registrant pays all outstanding annual fees.  Otherwise if at the end of 12-months in abeyance registrants still have overdue fees, their names will be removed from the CPEng register.

No annual registration certificates are issued while registrants are in abeyance.

Currently there are 21 CPEng Registrants in Abeyance
