Applying for Graduate Membership Graduate
Members (GIPENZ)
Graduate Members hold tertiary engineering qualifications that can be benchmarked internationally - typically either a four year degree Bachelor of Engineering, three year Bachelor of Engineering Technology or two year Engineering Diploma. It provides a framework through which IPENZ can support a graduate’s professional formation and encourages progress to the different competence based membership classes and registers.
Are you are expecting to complete your engineering studies at the end of this year? Don’t yet have evidence of your eligibility to graduate? Why not smooth the transition to Graduate Membership by becoming a provisional Graduate Member? Provisional Graduate Membership is free but will lapse if you do not transfer to full Graduate Membership by 30 June following completion of your studies. Apply now: applications for provisional Graduate Membership close on 31 December Please note: as a provisional Graduate Member you are not eligible to vote in the IPENZ governing Board elections or use the post nominal GIPENZ. Annual Subscriptions Subscriptions are only payable on invoice. On election to Membership, the level of subscription for the current year is assessed on a pro-rata basis and an invoice is issued.
