Three Year Engineering Technology Degrees

Three year engineering technology (BEngTech) degrees accredited by IPENZ are recognised as meeting the initial academic requirements for Engineering Technologists. IPENZ is a founding signatory to the Sydney Accord signed in 2001. This agreement ensures that all engineering technology degrees accredited by any of the signatories will be recognised as being substantially equivalent by all of the signatories. The other signatories to the agreement are engineering bodies in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong-China, South Africa, United Kingdom and Ireland.

All three year degrees are assessed against the IPENZ requirements for initial academic education for engineering technologists. Accreditation visits are conducted in accordance with the IPENZ Manual for the Accreditation of engineering Programmes

The degree title for the qualifications listed below is Bachelor Engineering Technology (BEngTech) unless otherwise shown.
