Sandra Hogue

Sandra is the Environmental Programs Manager for Hydro Tasmania.  Hydro Tasmania’s Environmental Programs include a Cultural Heritage Program as well as Land Environment and Environment and Sustainability Management Systems.

The Cultural Heritage Program was established 4 years ago and has focused on assessing Aboriginal and historic heritage values of land and assets; developing management plans, procedures and policies; oral history projects and cultural heritage awareness training.

Sandra has over 20 years experience in local and State Government and as a consultant in Tasmania and the U.K.  She is a member of a number of expert panels such as the Design Panel of the Sullivans Cove Waterfront Authority in Hobart, the Resource Planning and Development Commission and the Resource Management and Planning Appeal Tribunal.  She was a Tasmania Heritage Councilor from 1999 to 2005.

She is author of a number of strategic and policy papers covering social, environmental, economic, aesthetic and cultural aspects of land use and development.
