The Path to Competence Assessment...Competency of the Month
As part of your application for Competence Assessment the assessment panel requires sufficient evidence from you to demonstrate that you are currently competent to practice in your practice area.
A key document in your submission is the Competence Self Review (Form CA03) – it is here that you document or reference your best evidence of competence against each competence element.
Below we have provided information sheets on each element with examples from actual applications included. These will give you some idea of the amount and type of information required so that compiling your CA03 isn’t such a daunting task.
We have also provided a poster relating to each element which you can use in anyway you like!
It may remind you to update your work history and CPD records regularly.
It may encourage discussion between you and your colleagues.
Or simply brighten up your office!
