Project Management by Distance Learning
Learn the theory, develop the skills and apply the method and the tools. If you are involved in or are responsible for managing or participating in projects which deliver outcomes for organisations you will benefit from this distance learning course. Project management is an essential skill to improve delivery of project-based outputs and client-focused outcomes.
IPENZ and Programme Project Management Ltd (a registered education provider with the Project Management Institute) are collaborating to offer this distance learning course which involves approximately 125 hours of course study and assignment work. This equates to an average of 5 hours per week over a six month period with one assignment completed per month.
Certificate of Achievement
Participants successfully completing the course will be issued with a Certificate of Achievement which will show performance for the whole course as either a Pass, or a Pass with Distinction. Participants will also gain up to 60 PMI professional development units, which is equal to the annual requirement of the Project Management Institute for maintaining PMP (Project Management Professional) status. For those wishing to obtain PMP status, this course is recognised by the Project Management Institute as providing 125 contact hours – more than enough to meet the contact hours requirements of the Institute for sitting the PMP examination.

Assignments
Assignments are set for each section of the course and are marked, graded and returned within two weeks. Some assignments cover more than one section and the course has a total of six assignments. All assignments are to be completed.
Commencement Date
You can register for this course at any time. Once we have received your payment, you will then be posted out the course materials and you can commence the course once you receive these.
Course Director: Enzo Frigenti
Enzo is a specialist consultant, educator, trainer in the areas of strategic deployment, benefits (outcomes) realisation, enterprise programme, project and risk management. He has over 25 years engineering, business and project management experience and has owned and operated his own specialist consulting business in South Africa and New Zealand for the past 15 years.
Since 1995 Enzo has been a teaching fellow at the Massey University Graduate School of Business and is an MBA lecturer at the Victoria University Graduate School of Business and Government Management.
Course Assessor: Chris Mundy
Chris is the director of National Pacific Press, a Wellington-based publishing company. Much of his work in this capacity is project-based, and he has extensive experience of managing a wide range of projects in both the private sector and in government. Chris has worked with students and assessed their assignments in connection with project management distance learning courses for the past five years.

Course Guarantee
If for any reason a participant is not satisfied with the course materials after receiving the study pack, they may return the complete pack to PPM Ltd in good condition within 7 days of receiving it for a full refund. No refund is payable after the 7 day guarantee period.
Distance Learning Cancellations and Refunds
- Where a participant fails to complete the course, no refund is payable.
- Registrations are not transferable to other participants
- Participants who fail to correspond with or submit an assignment to the course administrator within 12 months of their registration, or who fail to submit an assignment for 12 months thereafter, will be deemed inactive.
- Participants wishing to reactivate their study will incur a service fee of $250 including GST.
- If, after a period of 24 inactive months a participant wishes to reactivate their study, they will be required to pay the current fee in full. Those who reactivate their registrations will be treated as new participants to the course.
