What is “Student Engineers New Zealand”? The IPENZ Board recognises that today's engineering students are the future leaders of both the profession and the Institution. In March 2010, a new IPENZ body called Student Engineers New Zealand (SENZ) was formed to represent student engineers throughout New Zealand. SENZ was formed in collaboration with the New Zealand Council of Engineering Deans and the Council for Engineering Technician and Technologist Education. SENZ provides networking opportunities for IPENZ Student Members and actively promotes IPENZ Student Membership. Membership Every Student Member of the Institution studying at an education provider shall be entitled to be a member of the relevant Student Chapter, subject to payment of the relevant fee.Members of each student chapter are also encouraged to be Student Members of IPENZ.
